Little-Boot-Camp & Healthy Lifestyle
Not enough exercise in school or at home? Is it too cold to go to the park? Don’t let this stop you from building healthy habits.
Our kids are very important to us. Lets give them the opportunity to have a healthier lifestyle.
2 Children are not the same, not even siblings have the same needs and fitness skills. Improvement is measured individually and goals are set on a personal basis. LCB is a Work-Out program that involves different exercises that vary accordingly to the students’ needs. This program benefits children from Pre-Kindergarden up to high school. There’s no specific techniques to be learned. The main focus is improvement in strength, coordination, and endurance.
Calisthenics - Systematic rhythmic bodily exercises (e.g., jumping jacks, push-ups), usually performed without apparatus. Calisthenics promote strength, endurance, flexibility, and general well-being by placing regular demands on the cardiovascular system.
Stretching - Form of physical exercise in which a specific muscle or tendon (or muscle group) is deliberately flexed or stretched in order to improve the muscle’s felt elasticity and achieve comfortable muscle tone. The result is a feeling of increased muscle control, flexibility and range of motion. Stretching is also used therapeutically to alleviate cramps.
Aerobic - Activity which increases the body’s demand for oxygen thereby resulting in a marked temporary increase in respiration and heart rate.
Anaerobic - Activity in which the body incurs an oxygen debt.
